The Skatespot Guide and Chrome Problem
As some of you have already noticed, two of the spotguide features are not working with the latest Google Chrome browsers. Heres whats going on, and how you can get around it.

The spotguide concists of three main map features; Browse Spots, Skate to Spots and Drive to Spots.

Two of these features, the Skate to Spots and Drive to Spots, are currently not working in the latest version of Google. Chrome. Due to security changes made to the browser, the nesseseary location information is no longer.

Our webhost is working on solutions that will remedy the problem, and it is expected to be solved some time this summer. But until then, here are some ways to get around it..

Solution #1

As the browse spots feature is not affected by this bug, it can always be used to browse skatespots by country, county, municipality or city.

This is the easies way to get around the problem, as it requires no action. But you will loose the convenience of being able to show only spots near you, and will instead have to browse to your location manually from a country or city map.

Solution #2

As the problem only affects the Google Chrome browser, you could always install and use another browser. Or maybe you already have another one installed?

The Skate to Spots and Drive to Spots features have been verified to work on Firefox, Opera, Safari and Internet explorer.

Solution #3

If you really want to use Google Chrome, you could roll back to an earlier version.

Other Issues

We have gotten some feedback from users that the country/city selection boxes are not working. This is usually due to the lack of JavaScript support in your browsers.

As an alternative the Browse Spots startpage also has text links you can use to navigate the countries.

If you experience any other problems using The Justme Spotguides, please let us know and we will look into it.
